I had fun hanging at your site Ernie. Good job. And yes I agree that pulling all these out to take pics is a bitch. But a lot of your pics did turn out very good. I think any way.

Agreed...100%

I really glad that you guys enjoyed the site. It makes the effort really worthwhile.

Ernie Great job! (Thanks so much for the CLB donation...you are a good man and a class act!)

No where as classy as you, BP

Thanks for taking the time to look at my silly website.

ernie,
baritone?

On the way, should have it soon.

Glad to hear you located all of the discontinued colors man, you have a favorite?

Glenn |B)

The Gremlin Green will always be my fav.

62 JP's is amazing! Which one is your main player?

Medallioin Gold 6, Pearl Redburst 6 w/piezo and matching stock, Carbon Blue 7are my main players. There are 3 other in different tunings that I play every once in awhile.

Nice work Ernie, great collection.

Now how do you manage a collection like that, do they all get played or do they pretty much stay in their cases all the time?

I can see a vision where you walk into a huge room with your guitars covering every inch of wallspace :)

I have 5 or 6 I play, the rest stay safe in their cases.

Visited the website again - it's so great.

Now, if I may ask, I have a couple of small questions about Your tonal preference with the JPs.

It's interesting that none of Your main players is a BFR - maybe You could shed some light on Your tonal view on the BFR models vs. the standard ones. And another tonal question - do You actually prefer the older bridge PU (some of us here, including myself, do), or the D-Sonic?

Thansk a lot in advance,

and keep Your small collection growing :)

Thanks!
There are two reasons my main players are not BFR's. I don't want to put too much wear on them 'cause they are really more of a collectors piece to me, and like you, I prefer the older pick-ups to the D-sonic. I do like the D-sonic for the lower tunings. I have a Carbon Blue six tuned to C that I installed the D-sonic in, and I think it sounds better, the lows sound more crisp to me.

Oh, so You're also more of the Steve's Special guy - that explains a lot! I love this bridge pu, that's why my trem 20-th silo has it now (and it sounds like heaven in a split coil mode with the Humbucker from Hell in the neck).

Well, maybe I'll have a sparkle JP someday again - it could be a blue dawn JP7...

Great site Ernie (BTW I'm still taking care of the Autumn Red of yours that was surplus to requirements!)

I'll post a link to your site over on the VoicesUK Dream Theater site if that's OK as I'm sure those folks will enjoy it too.

PS I'm not seeing any Koa on there yet... In the pipeline? :D

Hey B,

You better take care of that Autumn, she is a beauty!

Of course it's okay to post the link on other sites, I made the stupid thing for people to see.

No Koa on the horizon, yet. Got two BFR's on order. A Ruby Red Baritone and Amethyst either 6 or 7, I forgot, probably a 7, gotta ask Pete to find out for sure.
