I call in to the local shop to see if I can get a deal on the Albert Lee they have had hanging there for about a year.

The guy who had it up on consignment picked it up 2 days prior. Aaaargh!!!

I almost ordered a new pickguard prematurely.

I'm not sure if you guys know how it feels, but it sucked :(

Maybe you can get the guy's name from the store and buy it from him directly?

Yeah, I asked. They didn't want to share, cause they expect an mm90 soon. I still want the sss.

I scoured the local kijiji and craigslist hoping to find it there - nothing.

""Yeah, I asked. They didn't want to share, cause they expect an mm90 soon.""

That's not what I consider good customer service.....

The timing sucks on that!

I would hope that they wouldn't give out another customers information. If they did, I would have serious reservations about shopping there....

I actually referenced this event in another thread here concerning albert lee pickguards, and found out another forum member was actually in touch with the owner of the same guitar; the guy just changed his mind.

It seems even if I could get in touch with the guy, he was no longer letting it go.
