But that is some nice birdseye and the tuner and string retainer alignment (which may not be as it looks in the photo, because of perspective etc.) are very minor issues that wouldn't bother me much. But, wow!, the top on the second one axis is astonishing! And I'd prefer the Music Man vintage trem to the Floyd. And it's lower priced.

I'd like SS more too, but the neck is not even similar to a" bird's eye" =(

Yes, but nobody will ever hear the birsdeye, most non-guitarists won't even care, and with your eyes closed, both necks will feel equally good.

Of course, the birdseye is very cool, and the chrome pickup covers on that guitar are even more cool again.

Decisions, decisions! :D

Supersport!! That fantastic maple top and the vintage tremolo can beat the floyd in sustain and no lost the pitch!!

Really depends on what music you're playing. I'd go for the Ass, though. Killer top and single coil capability with blade switch makes all the difference in the world. I'd negotiate a better price as well. Call Robbie Gustin at GC Dallas. He still has some Tributes that are marked down.

Do you want a Floyd? If so, the answer is simple. If not, the answer is simple.

If you don't care, the answer isn't quite so simple but I'd suggest the slightly more versatile SS.

Lol, finding a thread when I'm about to dive for a Tribute and hearing everyone praise the SS...

This is kinda confusing...and makes the decition harder than I thought...

but you have notice more birdseye on the Axis it's maybe very important for you
the defaults seems to be minor

Gotta have the locking trem. Just my preference. Such a dilema to have. You can't go wrong with either one. Good luck in choosing, and don't forget we must have pics on arrival.

Now that you've got the Super Sport, do what I would have done: Buy em both, or buy this one on the FS thread:
