What Colour is this? or EBMM Bass Finishes Guide

Hi guys,

me and my forum mates over here at one domestic music forum in Music Man Club Thread are having a discussion about the color of one nice Stingray.

I'd be very pleased if some of EBMM experts could tell me what color is this:

Previous owner wrote this is Autumn Burst, ...bit I think this could be Cherry Burst, or Honey Burst?
Who's right?

Thanks in advance!

Hey ive just gone through all 29 pages of this thread to see if anyone has asked this question but NO , so i guess i had better ask it . I bought my bongo 2009 true gold 6 weeks ago new from a dealer in sydney . I would like to know what year this colour was introduced , and when it finished , as i believe its discontinued . My next question is :why ? was it an unpopular colour ? or a rare one to get, as I see a lot of guys in this forum with bongos in desert gold , but only 1 or 2 in true gold . Its an incredible colour without looking posey so i couldnt see why it would be unpopular .

One of the many cool things about EBMM is that there had been a lot of different colours and there probably will be many more. There is a constant in change.

What color is this one? Just got it but can't ID it. Thought black cherry but it's purple on the edges. There's a sparkle to it also that doesn't show so well in my crappy pic. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1346188165.689375.jpg

Hey gents!

Thanks to Jacob's help in the Serial Number thread (big thanks!), I was able to find out a bit more regarding my SR4-H - according to the serial number and information it seems that it is Stratus Blue Sparkle. However, looking at pictures of the Stratus blue on the net, it doesn't look quite right to me. It looks like a mix of both, in a way. It certainly looks more teal than dark blue of the Stratus, but not as light looking as the Glacial. Here is a picture of it:

Opinions? Are my eyes deceiving me?

Is there a list of all the discontinued colors/finishes? I was at a GC recently and they have a new Classic SR that looks Lavender to me. It's not listed on the website as a current color and I don't remember it from the past (but I could have missed it).

I'm guessing the color you came across was "raspberry sorbet" a limited guitar center color last year. I really wanted one, but never had the scratch for it. As far as a list. I don't have that.

hello! i am curious about knowing the history of the Translucent Blueburst colour, my Stingray 4 '93 has that awesome flavour, but in a few years that seems to have been discontinued, i suspect for the income of the Steve Morse guitar, thank you for reading me and hoping in a resolution! ciao!
