Rush
In Flames
He Is Legend
Our Last Night (I highly recommend these guys) :D
Coheed and Cambria
Antoine Dufour

Someone at the Mike Portnoy forums turned me onto a band called Dead Air Radio. I've been listening them more than anyone else lately. Signal To Noise Ratio (their newest effort) is just a magnificent album. Anyone wanna tab some of it out for me? :p

i too am looking for some new music. thanks for the pointers. we have very similar tastes. i'm a huge DT fan along with Co&Ca, Rush & Porcupine Tree.

try Oceansize or Enchant or Sylvan. Pain of Salvation have had a good few albums of late too.

Lately I've been listening to a lot of Rush, the albums Counterparts and Roll the Bones in particular, and I've also recently been getting into Pearl Jam.

  • Catherine Wheel
and when my kids are in the car.....
  • The Wiggles: That red Wiggle can jam on the guitar

Heh. Prog-rock nerds in this thread!

For me:

XTC (Apple Venus Vols. I & II.)
Rush (Counterparts, Hold Your Fire lately)
Porcupine Tree (Lightbulb Sun, Fear of a Blank Planet)

Steve Lukather - Ever Changing Times

Still...The CD hasn't been far from my CD player since I got it in April. Also been listening to a lot of Toto and Crowded House when not listening to ECT.
