cheap plastic look, not the quality the "real bass player" needs...
Is it made of plastic?...because if it's not, then your statement is completely unsubstantiated.

Ahh, the old Markbass muteswitch chestnut rears its head again. Why it's not standard is very odd
I love to watch how innovation is received. This thing gives you guys the abaility to only play for what you want and need...it gives you the chance for different power and eq options...lets say you are a standup player....buy one eq section...your funk gig you just swap the preamp....it is about giving the bassist total control.
My money is on this being a hit.
This is certainly an interesting concept, very curious to see if it takes off.

I saw the rack live already.... cheap plastic look, not the quality the "real bass player" needs...but good idea to build your own sound. Maybe the second updated version will be more robust without the plastic "car knobs" and the uneven front panel...
i love it. only thing that makes me sad is that the site's in Flash
super interesting concept that's got my mind turning.
I can't tell you how much we hear people say "I want a mute switch", "I want pre-EQ", "I want phantom power" etc etc etc...
You Americans like freedom, don't you?![]()
For the record, Peter, my LMII and the two cabinets have been going strong for nearly three years now. It's all I use.

PS: Sterling gave them to me as a birthday gift so I guess I'm out of luck with warranty!![]()
