Let's try this again...

1st came the StingRay. Then the StingRay5. THEN the Sub (4 and 5).

The Sterling came after the StingRay 4 and 5. The Sterling is actually a StingRay5 with only 4 strings - not the other way around.

OT: what is the more expensive bass in the USA, sterling or stingray? cause they are the same price here???

The Sterling is a little higher (<$100) in my neck of the woods.

I was just looking on MF and the Sterling is $77 higher than the Stingray.

my 20th anniv stingray is my main bass. good thing i bought one that wasn't mint or i'd feel bad about all the dings i've been putting in it!
