What rigs are you guys running?

Just added a new Blackface WA Scout and extension cab. Where has this rig been all of my life?! Perfect match with the 'Rays...

My "Gig"
View attachment 7489

That's a Genz-Benz ShuttleMAX 12.0 on top of an Aguilar DB210/DB115 set supporting my 25th BFR. I temporarily had the amp outside it's rack, which includes a Korg DTR-2000 tuner and BBE MaxCOM compressor. It's all powered by a Monster Pro900. Also not shown is my backup Bongo 5.

Been biamping since 1979.
Rig:
AudioArts Parametric preamp.
Rane SAC22 x-over.
QSC GX-5 power amp.
2 x 15" Fane speakers.
2 x 10" Fane speakers.

The LMII/Epi 310 handles most of my gigs.

I have an SWR WM 12 for small stuff. I also have an Alembic F1-X pre/QSC PLX 3102. I need to come up with an inexpensive big cab for outdoor gigs this summer.

Mark: I've tried the Henry and it wasn't my thing. But thanks just the same.

Actually, I'll probably end up buying an SWR Goliath 3 410. They've fallen out of favor (for a lot of reasons), but I had one back in the 90's and it's my favorite in terms of sound out of all the cabs I've owned. There seems to be a lot of them out there and they're pretty reasonably priced.

Alway good for a chuckle... :)

Actually this is my practice setup... When playing live I simply run though our PA. I'm lucky that our sound guy is good at getting my sound right. (Maybe out of fear of being whipped with an instrument cable :) )

Markbass MoMark T1M Pre -> EQ7G -> MVVL -> 500W Analog Frame into Epifani Performance Series PS210 and PS115

It can do beautiful and/or brutal things... :)

Backagain1: The consensus on TalkBass seems to be to that the 310 cab won't replace a 410, but to think of it as a "super 210". I would have to agree. I call it the "Baby Bear" cab (think Goldilocks & the 3 Bears)- not too big, not too small, but just right, at least for what I do. I mostly play rooms that seat 100-130 people with no PA support; a 410 or 210/115 setup was a little too much and a 210 cab alone wasn't quite enough.

I did a handful of outside gigs last summer with the 310; it did OK, but I would have preferred just a little more uumph. Used non-neo 410 cabs seem to be plentiful and cheap (relatively speaking), so I'm looking to maybe pick one up.

Edited to add:

As to the weight of the 310: evidently there's some discrepancy on the weight of the Epi UL Series 2 cabs. Originally they were advertised at 47 lbs. I bought mine new in Nov. '07 and while I haven't weighed it, it's fairly close to that. They advertise them at a higher weight now. Mine is an easy one-hand carry for short distances.

Here it is, a couple of pics from a recording we did last year, sorry it's kind of blurry.

sometimes use a couple more pedals, but that's it.

The tape echo isn't mine, sadly. it belongs to the sound engineer who did the recording.
Really happy with this rig.

Bag Ends in the House

I finally settled on an Eden 405 amp and a pair of 15" Bag Ends. The Bag Ends don't get much love in these forums, but I think they sound teriffic -- efficient, compact, light weight, and great tone.
