I just updated a family photo of my bass gear, and got me wondering what type of rig you guys here are running...... I'm a Mesa Junkie to the max, and I think that Mesa, and Musicman make the best combination.....(with the exception of a Bongo through an Ampeg) Then again, that's just my opinion. Anyway, what do you guys think is the best Bass and amp combination.

Here's mine........

Nice setup! Gotta sound good! I have the old man with wore out back setup. Markbass f1 with an ampeg 2-12 portabass cabinet and my one and only stingray. I don't take my 65 out anymore.

Thank's!!!! I won't lie...... I am really proud of my rig. Seeing that it took me over 3 years to get it.

When I was playing a Bongo I was running through 2 SVT-3 Pro's, hooked into two Ampeg PR410HLF's........ The matching of the two was one of the best tones I think I have ever heard.

Easy to carry: Markbass LMII with 2-10 and 1-15 cabinet.

Stays at home now: Sunn 1200s, Ampeg 4-10 and Ampeg 1-15 cabinet.

Bongo 5HHp into Genz Benz Shuttle 6.0 into Epifani UL2-112 cab

Plenty loud for my needs. Someday I'll get another cab if I need to get louder.

best tone I've ever had
lightest rig I've ever had
happiest I've ever been

I'm looking into adding another 4x10, or maybe a 2x12.

For earthquakes I use a EBS Fafner TD600 a Ampeg 410HLF and a 210Pro.
If its just about knocking down houses I use just one of the cabs. :D

Seriously: A very versatile setup!
For non-noisy gigs and at home I use my "Keyring-amp". A GallienKrueger MB150S that is.

Great stuff but recently I feel like playing something completely different. That happens every couple of years. Maybe a Glockenklang...or Mesa. Don't know yet...
