What rigs are you guys running?

I use a pair of custom 210 cabs I made and finished in a natural stain / clear satin. I got tired of the usual black carpet cabs I had been using for years and wanted something different. I play a lot of clubs where the stages are small, so I stack them vertically and they actually sound better in this configuration anyway. If I'm using a micro head, this works fine - and I use either a GK MB500, a SWR Headlite, or Carvin BX500. If I need more power and bring out my rack, I stack them horizontally so the rack fits nicely on top. I've tried many different configurations and always come back to a pair of 210s. I used to drag around a 410, but at 80-90 lbs., they are a drag to move and schlep. A pair of 210s will fit in most cars and you really can't go wrong with this setup.

I'm actually enjoying my MarkBass CMD 102P combo quite a bit. I had tried the Markbass stuff before but couldn't get my ears around the smaller cabs (as much as I like their size). This one has the larger cab with front ports and it sounds great. :)
 
Wow, that vertical 2x210 rig is one of the most GAS-generating rigs I've even seen.
Really really nice! :)

Here's my overkill rig, 2xTKS-212 with EBS HD350, Ampeg SVT-IIp, DBX (rarely used) and Eq (almost never used, but fills up the rack). The 212's are made by a friend at the Swedish bass forum who has started up a small scale business making cabs. They weigh only 40 lbs each and play extremely well.

At home I play an Ampeg B15-R, and for most everything except the rockband where I use the TKS rig have a TecAmp M212 that I really like with the EBS/Ampeg SVT-IIp combo.

It's my Dargie 'Ray into an Aguilar AG500, combined with either one or two DB112's in Monster Green. The choice of bringing one or two cabs is not based on size of venue, but on the amount of gear I want to take with me (default setting is 'take all!')..

Now including matching colored wall!
 
Mesa Walkabout Scout and 30th SR

My "Craigslist from Montana" excellent find: 15" Walkabout and matching extension in custom wine lizard! Looks beautiful, forgot how great the Mesa tone is! Paired up, here, with the matching Stingray 30th Anniversary bass.

I run a Mesa road ready 2x15 and a diesel 1x15 (both the older thiele/TL606 style mesa cabs) with a Mesa Bass 400 head. "Only" 235 watts. Believe me it gets way too loud if I want it to. No pedals, just a tuner and an EBMM Sterling.

Line6 Guitarport amp modeling software. It's not ideal but since I moved to London and have to use public transport everywhere, carting my 300w Fender combo around just isn't an option. I therefore take my Macbook Pro to gigs with me, plug into this and go straight into whatever backline they have for monitoring and D.I. into their P.A. system.

It's good in that I can instantly switch between different virtual Amp/Cab combos for different sounds. It's by no means as good as the real thing but given the choice between carrying my laptop or my amp on foot its a bit of a no brainer.

Now words seldom fail me, but 4xKT88 point-to-point, massive transformers, hand-built- and don't pay no mind to the (listed) $$ iffen you know what I'm sayin'.... Cheap? No, but worth it,,,,Hellzyeh, if you like all-tube incredible power/awesome tone kinda things.

Henry the JAGUAR (designer/Builder) plays Bass, most of the boutique market is for guitar amps, but he designed, modeled and built the 200 to meet his ideal tone parameter, a Blue-Line SVT. He didn't just succeed, he EXCEEDED IMO, because the headroom and tone from this amp kills dead. Rich, phat, and the most evenly defined tone across the spectrum from any rig I have played through or owned, and that covers lots of ground.

4x10 Celestion TruVox drivers work for me, this amp is a GEM, luv it.
Takes about 2-3 month delivery, made to order, and finally it is a CRIME that this rig doesn't get it's props from the Bass World as do..."others", but maybe I can help. And I have NO vested interest other than totally digging the tone-
I had a Custom-Built all-tube rig in mind for some time, talked to 3-4 different builders of same; met Henry at NAMM and we saw eye-to eye.

Think of a BONGO through an all-tube rig like this..

I use a SWR Super Redhead with a 4ohm Goliath Jr III underneath it. i have been gassing for a Genz Benz set up for some time now. a GBE 750 with a XB3 2-10 & 15 cab
