I'm thinking Axis MM90 as well. It's got a great mix of twang and bite. Great with gain (rock gain, not as much with metal levels of gain), excellent semi dirty to clean.

If you can get your hands on a 20th Silo, by all means snatch that puppy up. Having a 20th AND a Silo Special gives you all the versatility you need. I like my AL, but the Silos get a lot more love and play time.

I'm just getting myself set up to do some home recording, I've been meaning to do up some pickup clips for ages.

Here's a scratch mix of a song I'm working on. No vocals yet. It's all Axis MM90 + Bongo for bass. A bit EQ'd, but you can hear the distorted MM90s. (Excuse the sloppiness, yada yada yada.)

Dont underestimate the MM90 AL, it aint just a twanger. Out of all the EBMM guitars its the most misunderstood.

Yeah, it's EZ Drummer via Reaper (love Reaper!). Senn e906 into a cheap USB interface. I've got a better mic & pre coming so then I'll be able to re-do all the tunes I've got half finished.

Well, I finally made my decision. I've got a MM-90 loaded AL coming my way. after hearing clips, and finding Rob's MM-90 AL vid on youtube, I really want to give the AL a try. Love the looks of it, the neck is really comfy, and I can't wait to try out the MM-90's!!

The only thing I might want to change is the pickguard. I'd love Black Ice, if I can still get my hands on it. But I have a few other ideas.
