What to tell your spouse after buying an MM

YOu notice how much funnier the bass sides response is to this thread....Sometimes I wonder about those six stringers....almost as much as I worry about Tiffles showing up in those canadian orthopedic wanna be fashion shoes.

Shhhhhhhh...............not too loud, but as a six stringer, I think the bass side is funnier too. I don't know why and I'm sure I' going to find out. But maybe it's because you guys have been thumped in the head too much.................don't tell those guys I said so

I know this is a light hearted thread, but in reality why should a partner be upset that you spend a little money on yourself?

Providing the bills are paid, there is food on the table and you spend some money on having fun together, why should a woman get upset if her guy buys another bass. I would not want to be with someone like that.

i think they just dont get it. honestly most musicians i know arent like us. they have 1, maybe 2, guitars/basses and thats it. i think were "different". i mean - i will admit i probably have a few more instruments than i "need". my sig just lists my MM's but i have an equal number of other things.

my ex was super cool and thought they were pretty ... but she literally owned over 114 pairs of shoes. LoL. Previous girlfriend, my mom and my sister always say stuff like "how much was that? why dont you/we go on vacation instead of you buying another bass"

cmon give me some credit. for goodness sake they have a bloody collar. i own fabulous shoes. i just bought some pink almost paisely ballet type things with a kitten heel. if aussie mark wore heels, i think hed be into these.

My wife is colorblind (yes really) so as long as i stick to HH Bongo fivers I should be safe
