Just one, huh?

Well, not sure. Could it be one of 2 EVHs (Blue and Amber - no pics)?

My Honeyburst Axis (with gorgeous quilt top)?

My 20th?

Honestly, if I could just go back and pick any one of them, it would be the 20th hands down. Man do I miss that guitar. :( I do miss the others as well - but that 20th - it was fantastic - perfect for me too - there's a good reason they call us "knuckleheads"!

The good news is they all went forumites - except the JP.

Man those were some sweet guitars! I really love the swirled JP6!!! Thanks for sharing...

I really regret selling my first EBMM. The guitar was perfect for my needs, I just didn't notice (or didn't want to know) that back then. Build to last, good sound, easy to play and the unique "Musicman" on the bridge (what no SUB had). I sold it to buy an Silhouette. Also a great guitar, but that just didn't have the same "vibe" for me. The "new guitar" or "first expensive" guitar vibe. ;)

:(

How in the heck did this SUB1 have a regular Music man bridge on it?

Some of them did have the bridge with the Music Man script - I just don't remember if these were the first ones made or the last ones made. BP mentioned it in a long post on the SUB1s a couple of years ago. There aren't many of them; just a handful.

Its the other way around for me. I haven't sold any of my balls since I first got into them in '05.
However, I got pipped to the post for this one, and I'm glad I did because shortly after that my EVH came up for grabs and I got that instead.

I was just feeling like trying new things, and needed something better suited for what I am up to currently. In the end, I knew I would own more EBMM's in the future, so all is well! I am very happy with my current guitars, but nothing does leads quite like an EBMM.

I sold a White Silo in 2007
I sold a Tabacco Axis in 2006
I sold a Pearl Redburst JP with piezo in 2007
I sold a Sub1 in 2006

I regret selling them all.

Slav, my first EB was a trans red quilt top Axis too!!! I bought it from GC in 1999 and oddly enough, I sold it for a Gibson Les Paul Gothic! It had a pretty decent amount of birdseye in the neck. I never really did click with the Floyd which is why I rashly dumped it.

I'm an idiot.

Mine was the coveted JP 6 in Autumn Red Rise.

It had a sealed neck and was just a please to play. But I didn't think and sold it. I had hoped one day to snag it back form Pete who bought way after I sold it, but Pete has parted with it as well. :( Maybe, someday.

Uhhh, Glenn, I still have it... it just has an all rosewood neck on it now!

I was wondering if hell had frozen over. :D

Only one I really regret selling was the first one I bought. A trans blue Axis, bought in 96, had a fine neck w/ some sweet flame on it, stayed in tune all the time, played and sounded great. Traded it for a Parker Fly Deluxe.

I haven't sold or traded any either.

The only regret, is not getting a 25th. Oh well, maybe someday.

Glad to hear you still have it Pete, I forgot that you put the RW neck on it man.

Thanx, Glenn |B)

I'll never sell any of my EBMM guitars (although l did sell my Petrucci, l just didn't use it, and don't really miss it), but l've had quite a few offers on my Luke 1, but will never sell it, l love it too much.

When I first got into EBMM I thought I would try and find/buy one of each model and see which fits me. But the problem was there's too many options for each model! I got a silo special early on, maple trem HSS, so next I went rosewood HSS trem, then SSS Rosewood hardtail, then maple hardtail SSS etc......so I had to find used ones to save money, same goes for the Axis range and the AL range, no shops here carry the whole lot so buying used is the way to go, and I found my home on the AL's eventually!!!!!! I dont regret selling any of the 30+ balls ive sold because they were all just bought out of curiosity and sold to fund more curiosity.
