If given the chance what would you change about your favorite model of musicman guitar? It could be a new finish, small tweaks, bigger tweaks etc. Just curious to see some of the ideas forumites come up with.

For example:
Changes I would make to the Luke would be slightly taller frets (possibly stainless steel or a harder alloy than standard nickel silver), an emg 89XR p/up in the bridge position with a mini switch to split the coils, 2 SLVX p/ups in the mid and neck positions, and a couple of new finishes like blueburst, 2 color sunburst etc.

I am perfectly happy the way my current 3 Balls are. The one thing I would like to see though on the Silo Special is the alder-mahog tone block-maple cap thing, with HSS configuration. I really love that on the 20th Silo, and just produces such a nice tone. I would also love to see the Steve Morse chambered Y2D with floyd and put that next to my hardtail Y2D :).

I'd like to have an AL with integrated iPhone, GPS and a cameleon paint job that change color depending of the surroundings.

1 thing is all I'd change on the Luke Bfr us the option of a humbucker in the neck or if emg could make a humbucker in a single coil casing ! that's it the Luke is perfect!

Yea I could go for an 85 style p/up in a single coil size for the neck. And maybe an 81tw in the bridge.Would certainly be a nice contrast to the standard 85/slv/slv setup.

Just to clarify here....I'm not saying that I think that there are problems with the luke or that I don't like it as it is. As a matter-of-fact the opposite is true. It's probably the best feeling, sounding and playing guitar I've owned in my career. But given the power to do so I would make the tweaks i've listed to make it the perfect guitar for me.
And having a built-in gin and tonic dispenser might be kinda cool :p

I LOVE the standard Morse... but I love the ease of use of the y2d. I would like a standard Morse, but with a 5 way switch ala y2d, and then the three way to add the second single coil. I think that would be cool.

I'd change the headstock colour on my ASS to natural (actually I wish the whole thing was a solid colour.)
I'd also change the logos on both my EBMMs....too busy, too many words & too many different fonts.
Still to quote a famous last line "Nobody's perfect"
