A bit boring maybe, but I can't think of anything that could improve on the stingray I already have.

Ok,
Since all of this was started I will let you all know now.
I will get serious concerning the purchase of a Blue Dawn Sterling, used in great condition. I would consider trading in or selling my Blue SR 4 active SUB which is in above excellent condition.
I need the smaller neck which the Sterling offers.
My e-mail is available.
Blessings

This one's Blue Dawn, isn't it?

Yes that is blue dawn. I wanted to know if u can get that colour without the sparkle because the sparkle is just ugly

That's what makes it Blue Dawn! It would just be Blueburst if it didn't have the metal flake. (I'm not wild for the sparlke finishes either, but some really like them.)

Is there such colour as Blueburst cause i love that blue dawn so much with white pearloid PG but just the sparkle makes it look cheap and just horrible

I think there are non-sparkly versions of Blue Burst. Pictures aren't available on the EBMM Build an Instrument section, but Bass Central has some on their website:

Finish: Pacific Blue Burst

If I remember correctly, EBMM also had another kind of blue burst which was lighter than the Pacific Blue Burst and Blue Dawn. I can't find pictures of it to confirm, however.

See i know theres not much difference but that doesnt seem right to me that blue burst. The blue should be more like the blue on the blue dawn.

But that Black Cherry Burst with maple neck has caught my eye. What a beauty

That's a Sterling - they don't have a control plate for the knobs. It's also got a transparent pickguard. Remember what Jon said! EBMM doesn't to custom orders! Well, unless you're a rock star, but even then it's iffy.

I have seen them without the sparkle. When you begin to look at all the different "blues" it begins to get somewhat confusing. I personally don't care for the sparkle.
I was bidding on a blue dawn on ebay a few weeks back and the guy ended the auction early for no apparent reason. He did the same on a gold one the other day.
Jon knows whom I am referring to, he banned him from this forum for some reason.

I already have my dream MM Bass.

Stingray 4 3bEQ rosewood board, black body & sp - all original.

I've since purchased the same bass in natural as a backup, but I just always use my black one.

I tried out a American deluxe precision last night at rehearsal. It lasted 1.5 songs before I put it away (to be given back to owner or sold on his behalf). Got my baby out & the rest of the band smiled as we started the 2nd song again.

My dream EBMM bass would be a 4 string Bongo with a maple neck (i am addicted to maple fretboards) in Transpurple or a similar purple color with a translucent clear picguard which would slightly distort the purple color and allow you to see through it...either that or a clear pickguard with irridecent gliter in it.

But i could settle for a bongo in any color as long as it had a maple fretboard.

Medallion Gold Bongo 4HHP fretless with matching head stock, Ebony fingerboard, Black hardware, Black Nylon filament roundwound strings, black pearloid PG.

I would pay double for one of those!!!
