You're right Koogs, but I can't get past the cold way this all transpired. Like I said, EBMM is like a family, not some cold-hearted organization. I'd have no problem w/ Tyler leaving for Fender if he just talked to BP up front and personal and told him the news first. It's this crap about probably signing w/ Fender months ago and then letting his manager do the dirty work w/o even saying Booo to BP. Is that the way to conduct business? Maybe. But's it's not my way and I don't condone it.

Could this have been handled better? Yes. GIve him a mulligan.....I have yet to see a guitar company make someone famous but if Fender can do it than I tip my hat to all of them.

Lets all wish TYler the best and move on......

He's still a kid....I'm willing to cut him slack here.

I don't go for that "cut him some slack he's a kid." If he's a kid, he's under his parent's authority. That being the case, shouldn't his parents have directed him in doing the right thing by personally calling BP? Too many excuses for a kid teaches them that they can get away w/o any consequences and don't have responsibility, honor, honesty or integrity.

I'm leaving the topic at that. Best luck w/ your Fender Tyler and as you grow older I hope you learn from this experience and develop some of the above-mentioned characteristics.
