Tommy... I am thinking you do the SR5 single H and the 2band SR4. Great combo. BTW, off topic but the GC in Raleigh has your coated EBMM Slinkies in the clearance bin by the register. JOSH

WOW! I don't know how I missed them! I was there again this past Thursday and went to the Guitar Counter and there were none on the shelf where they normally have them but I could see the label and figured they were out! I did not even think to ask anyone if they had some somewhere...I am headed back up there Tuesday or Wednesday of this week so I will get some then...

I am also going to be placing my order for my 2 Roasted Neck Balls!!!! Believe it or not I am still not 100% decided!!! I found the Series/Parallel switch and the all buttons up except the Active/Passive switch on my 25th Anniversary Saturday and used it all day again today. I am listening to some recordings from today and the bass is KILLING IT!! It has me TOTALLY thinking about either a Reflex 5 HH or a Reflex single H...MAN what a ballsy tone! I did not care for it when I was just noodling around at home or even at the gig by itself. BUT MAN that tone WITH a band is amazing! THe guy that owns the largest sound company in the Region came up to my sound guy about 15 mintes into the show and said "now that is an awesome bass tone". He was talking about the NEXO PA I own but I thought it was SUPER cool that he singled out my bass tone through the PA. I would characterize it as CHEWY for sure!!! My sound guy loves the tone with all the buttons up AND with the buttons down and in Series Mode...WOW! The tone is so FAT that way but still really warm and Organic sounding! I love it!

I have no idea which 2 I am going to get as of right now!!! LOL!

Peace,

T

Well, Tommix my friend... I think its obvious... You need a Big Al in your life! :D

Man you are SO right about that to!! I would love to have a SR4, SR5, Big Al H, Big Al SSS, Reflex 4 H and a Reflex 5 HH!!! The problem is I dont' have the room or the scratch to do all that!!!! I have to make it count! I am leaning toward the SR5 and the SR4 or a Big Al SSS or H...I am almost positive about the SR5...

Peace,

Going back to your original post... You can only take 2 basses with you. I think your 25th 4HH (that I know intimately :D) can disguise itself as a SR4 pretty well and of course do a lot of other stuff. Add the versatility that a Big Al 5 SSS provides to your arsenal and you can do anything!

Order a Roasted Big Al 5 SSS and a Roasted SR5. If you find out your not using the SR5 as much as you would like, all you have to do is PM me :)
