Which knobs will fit my musicman silo

I cant seem to find any information about the diameter on the musicman silo volume/tone controls.
Will a 5mm inner diameter tele knob like this fit?

Or do I need one that is 6mm. Like this:

It looks like the first kind fit split shaft pots and the second fit solid shaft pots.

Which does your Silo have?

Thanks, it`s a split shaft. Just had the idea I could measure it myself, doh! it seems to be 5mm, but its a bit difficult to tell since it has those ridges, whether it will fit 6mm or 5mm

When I sent my AL back they Jon (miss him) did the swap out, he used a paper match to fill the split in the shaft. Keeps the split shaft from collapsing and leaving the knob loose.

I prefer the tele style knobs myself.

Yep, I've done that too. You can also get rings that go around the split shafts, so you can put a solid shaft pot on without compressing them. I generally use whatever I have lying around, regardless of whether it fits correctly ...
