Only video I've seen of him, he was playing a Strat.

Glad to see some Marillion freaks around here :D

Steve plays a modified Japanese Stratocaster (main Guitar since 1987) but now is playing more and more a Blade Strat.

He also plays a Steinberger double neck from time to time. He used to play on a Yamaha SG2000 (reason why I got mine ;) ) and on a roland Synth Strat he recently sold on ebay

Steve, if EVERYBODY played MM, then how could you play your Lakland Decade?

Well, seeing that it's been about a year now since I paid for it and still don't have it I don't know. That bass has been making it's rounds, first on display at NAMM (where I did get to play it a bit) then off to Ed Friedland to review for Bass Guitar Magazine and now in the hands of Bill Leigh at Bass Player Magazine for review I don't know.

I guess I'll get it someday.

In the meantime...I got my Bongo....

I've been lurking this thread for what seems like forever now, but this morning it occured to me that one of the great players I'd most like to see playing an EBMM actually DOES play Ernie Ball guitars - I'd just like to see him ENDORSED by EBMM. Kim Mitchell is a highly visible, tremendously respected guitar player up in the Great White North, and he's been playing a beautiful 'burst Axis Super Sport stoptail with piezo for the last few years... I think he'd be a fine addition to the guitar endorsee's roster...

Oh, HELL yes!

Max Webster kicked ass! That first album can't be beat! We used to open our shows with "Hangover" from that one.

Too lazy to look through all the posts but I'd like to see EVH back in the EBMM family. Of course, I'd like to see EVH do anything right now besides hocking a $2500+ Charvel guitar, MXR Phase 90 and MXR Flanger and no music/band to go with it. Arggghhh

How about Robert Trujillo pounding away on a Stingray fiver...
