Never owned one.

Did use a buddies for a long while. A really old one.

It was great, for what it was. If you couldnt get a good tone out of that Peavey, you had problems.

I have one and I have even used it in concert in small halls. Works great for the price.

For about the first 10 years of my playing I used a TNT150.....I still have it. Every once in a while it starts making a noise & I have to hit the top of it...but aside from that it still works fine.

I grew up in Mississippi. Peavey was plentiful, relatively inexpensive and was not made by Sears. I've had all kinds of Peavey gear, although I am not at all sure I ever had a TNT.

I did have a big scary Peavey something head which ran two giant Peavey 2-15 cabinets back in the dark ages (1970s).

See? I remember that it was very loud and the tone sucked like a black hole, but that could have been that ugly-ass and quite hateful bass seen in the photo.

Flash forward to the new century. I left this magic rig in a local dive where we had open jams in San Antonio:

I have no idea how many watts that head is. It's a Session Bass head, for anyone curious enough to Google it. I know I never have been.

And a 1-15 cabinet. It sounds surprisingly good, but that probably has something to do with the basses I play through it.

Go Peavey!

Had a TNT130 - first amp actually. Served me well for 5 years and is still in action in a church outside of Columbus (for about 13-14 years now). While I am not a big Peavey fan, what it did, it did well (and was VERY dependable).

I won't vote, as none of my Peavey owning experiences have been real pleasures. I have had lots of Peavey amps and speakers, because they're inexpensive and at least not blowing up all of the time.
The one that sucked the least was a Mk III head and a 215 with a big horn in it. That was kind of loud, until I started playing fives and the speakes went bye-bye.
I currently own a Peavey Max preamp that I don't use.

Those Black Widow speakers sounded like ass but you couldn't kill them with an axe.

Well, everyting kinda sounded like ass back then no? I was just happy to get rid of my Kustom tuck & roll at that stage.

Never did. Choice was between that and an Ampeg b100r a few years ago and i went with the ampeg. Served me well for the year that i used it.

I still have a TNT150 with chorus and a Sheffield 15" that I keep at the drummers house. Plenty loud enough for practice, and produces some pleasing tones from time to time. Heavy and awkward to carry, though.

My dad and I both had TNT115s with Black Widows. When he passed away, I ended up with his so I had two of them. I ended up selling them both and buying one of the Mark III heads and a 215BW cab. Kind of like the one in Jack's pic less one cab.

I have a Peavey Basic 112 that makes some sort of noise when you plug something into it. The one Peavey product I might actually consider buying and using is the BAM210 bass combo. I played one and was pleasantly surprised.

Absolutely. I was actually praising the Black Widow for it's ability to survive being clipped for 4 hours non-stop with the bass and amp both dimed, as it served me well for a year of gigging 4 times a week competing with two guitarists with Roland Jazz Chorus 120s :D

Even after that experience I couldn't kill the Peavey, so I traded it on my first pre/power amp rig - Yamaha preamp, Jands J600 (Australian power amp, 300w x 2) into two EV-TL15 cabs.

Never played or owned a TNT. I have plenty of Peavey gear though and expect it will last me a life time.

No peavey for me either. First thing I got was a GK400RB through a 2 15" cab a friend made.

No reason other than friends sold them to me for cheap. I've been in love with GK ever since
