Pulling the trigger.....

Just got off the phone with my buddy Brandt at TPB. I will be ordering a Bongo 5 single H, Cabernet Pearl, black pg, and of course - Rosewood Neck!!!!

Man, I REALLY want one of these, but the timing could not be worse, and I just can't justify spending the money right now. Argh. I know I don't need a single H Bongo with a rosewood neck, but desire trumps rationality. The only good thing is I figure there's a great chance EBMM will come out with an even cooler Bongo (BFR, anyone?) down the road, when I'm hopefully in a better position to pull the trigger.

I hope all who have ordered them post lots of pics when they arrive.

Order in!!!

Well - my order is in - but not what I posted above. Instead of a Bongo 5 H in Cabernet Pearl - I ordered a Bongo 4HH in True Gold with a tort guard. Yeah I know, that is a big switch - but I would like the Rosewood to be my primary bass and I rarely play 5 or 6 strings. So there ya go!

This one will be replacing a Dargie Bongo 4 HH - so if you know anyone who wants to buy a Dargie - send 'em my way.

(My Dargie Bongo 5 HSP is staying)

Thanks for the deal Brandt.

Hey Eggie Guess what? ALl of the artists and yours truly got true gold with rosewood....

See Eggie! I told you that would be a great color combo.

Now I only have a few hours to talk myself into ordering a Single H version of yours before I can't get a rosewood ... ahhhh I need to stop deaming about a single H bongo and start working.....:eek::eek:

Thanks to Pete Dubaldo I got my order in, Stingray 5 Cabernet Pearl H/S black pickguard. I haven't had an EBMM instrument in 2 years (divorce killed my finances) so this one is special. Thanks Pete for making it happen, can't dump enough praise on you man you made my Christmas!
