A gold roller with black fretboard and brown roasted neck? That sound ugly. I'd have to see one to be a believer. Sorry.

The finish would be black sugar.

I guess it would be called a Black Sugar Roller.

That sounds cool.......and high calorie

I'd love to get a luke (one if each would be preferable but I have convinced myself I will never find or grow a money tree ha ha), also for the fact it would be similar to the black sparkle finish that is quite hard to find nowadays.

After seeing Jeff's mockup of the Black Sugar Roller...I'm totally going for it.

So I've done a complete 360 from my original ideas and I'm all about the Roller...

I think the roasted necks and black sugar color look awesome, but for now I will have the be content with the Music Man guitars I have now. (I feel fortunate enough to have 3 killer MMs at my disposal.)

So, I will live vicariously through you Knuckleheads when the UPS man arrives!

Wish I could afford to get one - but my wallet is hemorrhaging money putting my boy through Uni. Can't wait to see all the NGD photos when mr delivery man makes his calls.

This one was easy for me as I said this year I would have a Y2D in PS and an AL HH. Well I snatched the Y2D and now the roasted maple necks could not of appeared at a better time, as this is going to be one sick AL HH.

I am trying to get a price quote for a JP BFR; I guess we will see once I get the quote whether I can afford to proceed or not.

I'm gonna have to pass. Until I get paid in full for a job I did earlier this year ($10K) I am going to have to be happy with my HHAL as my sole guitar purchase for the year. (Tough luck huh?) Even Pete's HoneyBurst Silos and the ability to put my $$$ where my mouth is for BP couldn't convince me to spend the money... We will see what next year brings (Silo Spec BFR?)

I have some "friends" in New York that have offered their assistance, but I still have faith in getting my $$$$.... Oh wait, you mean the guitar... my bad. Im not to worried... the HHAL is getting a lot of love right now. So much so that another Ball may even get missed... the HHAL is that good!

Well it's gonna be tough but I really need a bass,I was planning on getting something cheap but this came along and now Im thinking I might sell my Saphire Black Silo to purchase one of these beasts on four strings. I cut my teeth on that guitar though so it is a very tough decision

According to the poll results, it looks like the Luke, JPX and the Reflex seem to the the models most are hoping to get.

I'm leaning towards the JP standard model right now. I couldn't decide between it or the BFR but I don't think I can really justify the extra money for the BFR when the only major difference is body wood. Besides, I just saw DT for the forth time and JP played a standard model during Pull Me Under and that's when I thought his tone was the best.

Does this color remind anyone of the old Black Sparkle color?
