Why......IT'S U>P>S> One day early!!!:eek: And a pretty new Sting Ray has been delivered. As soon as it warms up....is cold here, I will play and give a review and take some pics!!!!!

Well, made a slight neck adjustment and this bass is ready for some SERIOUS bottom!!They sent the white pickguard on it, however "The lovely Beth" is sending me a shell guard for it.

OK....now the RIC is in it's case...so I won't hurt her feelings....but hey....no comparison in the bottom end dept., the M/M kicks butt!! I also forgot how biteing they can sound...very unique...as a RIC is to itself, so is the M/M.

Flawless finish, ( I'm a real stickler)..better neck than my last M/M by far. This one has it all, looks, (Honeyburst, Rosewood) and great tone. A very "solid" feeling bass. As soon as I upload my pic, I'll post it.

Well, my bass left Chicago on December 31st and it's coming all the way down here to Ala-freakin-bama. Let's just hope it gets here. I ordered it via telephone and looked at my tracking page and he mispelled my city. It's Phenix City not Phoenix City. :rolleyes:

They were a day early delivering my carbon blue bongo from you, too. It used to be that the package would sit at the depot until the scheduled delivery day arrived, no matter how early it got there. Maybe UPS changed their policy?


Back on topic, congrats on the new bass! I can't wait to see pics, seeing as how I have a honeyburst/maple 'Ray sitting right next to me at the moment.

For the record, I think that Ray is WAY hotter than Rick. Just my personal taste, though. :p
