You guys are just SO TOTALLY missing the point.
You see, the paint is one of the most IMPORTANT components on the JP guitars.
The paint was specially formulated to withstand the extreme temperatures generated by John's shredding, which has been documented to exceed the temperature of the Sun.
It also has special filters to protect the circuitry from excess radiation when John goes into world domination mode........
It's also a teflon based non-stick finish for when he flicks the switch to KILLZONE mode.... and everyone around him explodes and dies.
No Paint ?......... I don't think so......... John would be MOST unhappy.
