I don't know what era of jack you have, three or four pole, and as I recall the four were earlier. But if you pursue original EBMM replacements, you might find this conversion info helpful. Then, if you opt into converting to a three pole jack that then allows you to use any TRS jack of your choosing. The difference between the two was how the battery was switched into the system.
