anybody out there ever have this situation? You find something incredible on cl, something you've had before and regret selling because you think you'll never see another one for sale, and you read through the whole ad and BOOM! No contact info. You have to rely on going through the freaking cl email reply. Half the time people dont setup their email right and it just goes to spam. I found something awesome(hint, just 1of200) and emailed the guy probably 100 times between yesterday and today and nothing. I dont understand,if someone wants to sell something you would think they would atleast put up some contact info or at least check their email.

CL stinks and do I have to put up with you using the GD word really no contact would work just fine, thanks:)

Its just frustrating when someone dangles a pink evh in front of you and you can't contact them

CL is so full of rip-offs and scams that I will only use the CL email and will never put any of my actual contact details on there. Their email system works fine. If people can get the confirmation email when setting up their account there is no reason why they can't get your messages when you send them.

I sent him an email as well just to see if it was something with your email address (doubtful but just in case). If he gets back to me for some freak reason I will point him in your direction.

Seriously if someone is selling something on craigslist but is too stupid to figure out how to receive/respond to emails, I feel like you shouldn't give them your money...

I love craigslist.

I've bought and sold many dozens of guitars. Great for guys with guitar A.D.D. who are not 1%ers.

I keep pictures of the serial numbers of most guitars I sell. Makes for fun emails to sellers.

Craigslist recently made their email annonymous for receivers. No longer easy for phishers.
