Tomorrow is my first gig with my new JP. I'm playing a song I wrote in our high school talent show. It's a really simple song but it's catchy and I get to show off my guitar so I'm happy:D . I'll admit I'm a little nervous but I think I'll be ok. I just thought I could use some well-wishes from you friendly people here on this forum:) . Hopefully I'll be able to post pics/videos afterwards.
Thanks,

 Melt some faces! \m/

The Mystic Dream colour is usually enough to stun people, anyway, so I'd say you're golden!

Thanks guys. And by the way I'm also playing Johnny Cash's "Walk the Line" in another act. I keep forgetting because it's easy and the singer has expressly forbidden me and our bassist from improvising at all (nazi...).
Mystic Dream will shock people, true, but is it enough to rock their knots?

Good luck man. After the first few bars you'll settle right in. As long as you guys are weel rehearsed and well-prepared, you'll have no prob. Prep is the key and usually compensates for the jitters.

If you're comfortable with the songs and comfortable with your axe, what's the worry? You'll have a great gig, go get 'em.

I remember back when I first started playing shows I use to get crazy stage fright. The only advice I can give is to practice your part enough where you can play it while you sleep. And if you make a mistake keep going.

Good luck mate.
Have your spare picks handy.

If you're nervous & get jittery, sweaty fingers you might lose one.

if not,

there'll be plenty to throw to the new adoring schoolgirls wanting your ball(s).

:D
