With all the introductions of the Classic Stingray series and now Classic Sabre series, which are killer basses, whats the chance of offering the original "Teardrop" cases....??? It would be the icing on the cake for the Classic series, IMO. Any thoughts...BP.???????

I'd like to see the SR4 return to birdeye satin necks and bring back the mutes. I like the Classic but want the body contours and the 3 band. Basically, the 89' - 94' Stingray.

Metal battery door with standard push/pull active passive.

As far as the SR5 (best 5 string ever) I miss the old pickup casing shape. I think the new filter position 2 sounds great but I also miss the noisey, sort of ugly, funk I could occasionally pull from the 2nd position. Maybe a 5 position super switch?

Please bring back the flat black and flat white pickguards. Those look fantastic under lights against the high gloss finishes.

Y'all do GREAT work. The old school US quality and work ethics are appreciated. Thanks.

An ultra fretless ... ebony FB, piezo bridge, and Boingo
configuration PUs ... HS or HH. Dual PU Boingos put the
bridge humbugger closer to the bridge than on the 1H
Boingo or the SR/Sterling basses, which acoarst is more
cooler for FL.

To avoid or minimize new tooling, this could be stricklee
a Boingo offering, where the only variant from normil is
the ebony FB. Or ... if you wanna shoot for the moon ?

It was my understanding, if you choose the stealth package you get the choice of ebony, even on fretless... is that right?

I agree - those teardrop cases with orange interior are great. This may be costly though and increase the price of the basses.

Satin? Don't you mean lacquered necks?

But funny you should say that... I just bought a '94 Sterling with a heavy birdseye neck, and it feels halfway between the gloss and the wax/oil. Was a satin neck finish ever an option?

Dunno that fur shure, but I do think you right ... however
I'm pretty shure that you can't get a piezo Stealth for such
bizarre reason as the piezo saddles are chrome ... or some
such other similarly bizarresque reason :-\

Anywho, we're just dreaming of "Ultimates" here. I have my
Boingo 4 1H FL piezo with pau ferro blank plank and I'm not
at all likely to spend $1700 just to get a new one, even with
an ebony FB and a neck PU.

As long as we're doing "dream basses," I want a hollowbody Bongo with a 15% oversized body 2 inches thick.

Rosewood body top, Mahogany back, roasted maple neck, piezo/single H with the Big Al/reflex 4 band/passive EQ.
