I would say buy your neighbor some ear plugs, but with that tone, and bump he'd need more than just ear plugs!

I'll bet that studio pre 500 is gonna be sweet too with that
2 stage tube and SS blending.
I've got the F500 and the compressore. I'm happy.
What kind of cab/cabs are you using?

I need to keep reminding myself that I could get by these days with one of those Korg CD headphone things. These threads don't help, but I think I can do it.

Hey Craig,

can you speak a little bit about the Studio Pre please? You got the exact two Markbass amps that I am interested in so I would love to hear how they sound compared to each other.

Is it possible to get a nice overdriven sound from the studio pre's tubestack?

You use bags for your EBMM basses?! What a disappointment... I thought you'd carry them strapped on TL style...

Man, that is one sweet delivery you got there. I'm still reveling in the glory that is my new LM Tube 800 and 4x10 MB cabinet but you got the whole catalog! Wow...

I'm especially interested to hear your thoughts on the Distorsore. I've only found one little demo of it online. I need (I think) a little hair to help fill out my band's three piece sound and think this pedal might be the key.

its pretty rad. easily keeps up with my previous $10,000 studio bass chain, tube adl 300g direct box, tube vintage telefunken v72's (same pre the beatles used up to abbey road), urei 1176 compressor, urei eq, to 2" tape. it sounds as good, and in some ways better than that rig. you can def get some nice overdrive from the tube stacks, or just nice warmth. very versitle. i had really high hopes, and am very impressed with it.

i will put together some sound clips and include this pedal for ya brother (as well as the lm tube 800- vs. studio pre, and whatever else is requested etc).

that was not stretching the truth by one inch. ive played stadiums with amps no where near this loud and been asked to turn down. for some reason the glorified roadie out front always thinks he should have "control" over my volume / tone. thats a concept im not comfortable with on most occasions.
