I've owned 6 jp and always had a reason to want. Im a big fan of RED. RAD RED is still my favoritest color, but the cherry sugah has my attention. I loved the JPX, but the black hdwr wasnt me. the SS frets, and all the rest have me thinking.

Of course, a redwood neck wouldn't be out of the question either.

I would like to see ALL models available with a chunkier neck. I'd also like to see a Luke available with another control knob, so I could install the EMG David Gilmour control configuration.

I've got my dream guitar mint green silo special with figured classic finish neck... I absolutely love this guitar... It has inspired more playing and technique changes than any guitar I've ever had...

But a guitar I would consider buying if it were made or I had like a trillion dollars to throw BPs way I'd build this...

Silo special highly figured flame neck roasted pearl tuning knobs and a BFR on the 12th

Body I'd do the standard alder body, mahogany tone block, flame maple top with a honey burst finish with a dark Carmel color being the outside color and carried to the back
It would be a solid top with clear pick guard like the Morse...
I'd have it set up with the standard pickups and a vintage trek system.

All hardware would be Gold

Well, i gotta say. The EBMM I own is perfect.

It's the 3/50 of the Bahama Blue JP BFRs. Neck? Perfect. Colour? Perfect. Plays? Perfect.

However, if i was going to BUILD a new guitar?

Probable an Axis Super Sport, with the control layout the same as a US Telecaster (without the chrome bit), pieze switch up the top like on the JP models. Make it out of solid mahogany with a quilt maple top, Solid Maple neck - the same as the Petrucci neck (24 frets, awesome slim) but maple fretboard, with a single coil at the neck and a humbucker at the back - Dimarzio Area 58 and Drop Sonic respectively...

Finished in a Burnt Orange colour, unfinished neck with matching headstock... And of course, a hard-tail through-body bridge.

Now that's a guitar. And, if i ever get famous and get offered by EBMM to make me a guitar - that'd be the friggen one.
