PI missed this earlier. I also love the Paradigms. Don't find any tonal differences and they seem to last a lot longer before sounding dull.

PI am a big Paradigm fan - best strings I have used for frequent rehearsals and gigs. Only one broken string in the past 4 years.

That guitar is a standard "Natural" finished Axis and has a non-roasted figured maple neck so I am going to say that guitar has nickel...
