Mahogany! My 30th SR is a wonderful bass.

The mahogany body really sounds great. I'd love to have another SR made of mahogany and perhaps the option of different pickup configurations.

I successfully talked my guitarist into a Mystic Dream JP6 and after seeing it I would love to see the Mystic Dream paint scheme on the curves of a Bongo.

The 2005 LE was already a white one.... go orange I tell you, go orange. Orange is hip. Been to the Geneva auto show this year, every other sports car manufaturer had an orange metallic model there. Gorgeus I tell you. :D

Orange with a black racing strip would be cool but I'd still like seafoam green or trans white more.

They already have, with yellow graphics and the manufacturers name on them this time.

I'd agree on the amps but the EB cabs slaughter the MB cabs. (IMHO of course) Although I was told that the new Classic series cabs will be more like the EBMM cabs. If not, then i'll happily stick to my EBMM cabs. :)

Puce? A delightful greyish pink colour that got it's name from the French word for 'flea' (surely that is going to put it out of the running :D)

Chrome is a bitch of a process and would probably add about $500-$700 to the price.

Yellow would be nice, but with white or pearloid scratchplate and white pickups. I just had a vision of a Steve Morse in yellow with a black 'guard and pups and it hurt my brain!

My vote goes for a fur finish or Realtree :D

The yellow idea is growing on me... especially if the yellow is done like the BMW //M colour called "phoenix-yellow"... metallic yellow with changes between golden and slight greenish shades in the sunlight.

Would look classy with a black pickguard... and intensly gaudy with a white perloid :)

I like yellow, and sparkles, how 'bout a yellow to orange translucent burst w/sparkles?
Or violet to royal blue burst w/sparkles?
Variations on the Blue Dawn theme, I suppose.

ok BP, So you buy your place in Hawaii (Susan and the girls and I go every year) and you start exporting KOA to the mainland...your house becomes a writeoff, and the '08 LE is...Koa. just a thought. -Capt. Don

I think a soft yellow would look great... but not too close to buttercreme. More like a pastel, I guess.

Or how about something that would look cool under a blacklight? Or is that too Trace Elliot?

Could a Bongo be made like that? A Bongo to match my 30th - oh yea!
