This has to be a drummer who posted this...funny stuff though, the "PEZ" style neck man, that mad me drop my beer laughing. Keep up the good work...
However....I would really like EBMM to make a silhouette normal production model WITHOUT a pickguard, and JUST 3 single coils. 24 fret, single coils no pickguard Silo, that would be perfect. And...maybe a new bass that did not have to have a pickguard on it, with a body style similiar to the JP sig. With a slightly smaller headstock. And a cigarette holder on ALL EBMM guitars and basses like a REAL pro should have!
You won't be needing it in the UK where smoking in indoor public places is banned.....and some pros look after their voices & lungs!Silhouette without a pickguard....heresy!
Man, what kind of rock star looks after his/her health? And any bar that does not allow smoking is not a bar, it's a restaurant! Blasphemy...however I have noticed a trend with the "youth", that the male's in the local bands out here have taken to shaving thier arms and legs...a bit weird, guess it's the new in thing or whatever but dude, how many 25 year old guys have no hair on thier legs? Be a man you p*****s!!!!! Seeing a guy up on stage playing and he has no hair on his arms...just aint natural man!!!! Where Kip Winger!!!!![]()
Well then I guess the UK has no bars, also California, New York etc etc. I've never smoked so don't qualify as a rock star.
Some time try playing a heavy smoking venue, then take your guitar & leads out the next day & smell them. (probably won't work if you're a smoker). That stench is also coating your throat. I guess most guitarists take care of their fingers & nails....so why not the throat, lots of us need to sing.
Now if you want to put something REALLY useful on a guitar, why not a built-in tuner?

I was pondering the same thing but I was wondering some things. If most guitar thieves are simply opportunistic and wouldn't know or care about a chip, would it really reduce the number of thefts? Would the idea only be worth it if all the people who might come into contact with the guitar have a chip reader too? Guitar stores and police for one, but what about all the other second-hand dealers or pawn shops? Should it be an industry-wide system to be useful? What about updating a database when a guitar legitimately changes hands? How much would it all cost for the idea to really work out?
How about a guitar that detects the redheads in the audience and subliminally tells them that my playing doesn't suck.
