I don't have the Buttercream LE 2005 Luke anymore - it didn't have a recessed plate and the Axis is now sold awaiting collection, The Axis Super Sport is currently on ebay but my Lukes are staying put! Oddly the Luke 1 is the least played of the pair as I've gone off Floyds over the years that I've had it - the neck is sublime though...

Who know's, if I can find another recessed plate Luke, I may be tempted to trade / swap! Wonder if the recessed plates came in any other colour than Luke Blue - I don't think they did but it'd be nice for clarification.

There's a Pearl Red Luke 1 with Floyd on ebay now [item 200304768918] if you didn't know...

New guitar day

I ordered a guitar almost 3 months ago and today my Silo Special with piezo has finally arrived!

Along with a pacific blue burst axis I bought from a forumite, this completes my collection (for now).

This might be hard to believe, but in the 25+ years I've played guitar, I've never owned a guitar with a single coil pickup! The Silo Special with piezo fills that oversight in spades. Man am I loving the velvety tones!

They were on the guitar when I bought it, the previous owner had replaced the stock ones. I was going to put the originals back on but I kinda like the wooden ones.

My first Luke

Hi,

finally i made it and found my first luke in "black sparkle". i always wanted a "black sparkle" luke and after a longtime search i found her at ebay usa, she made her long way from america to me in germany and i really am in love . this instrument is way above everything i ever played. she has this little scratch at the side of the body, thats why she was sold, i guess, but it doesn´t minors my enthuisasm for this beautiful guitar.
