Music Man Axis Hardtail

Just pick up a used Music Man Axis Hardtail! I think the color is trans orange! For a used guitar, this thing is mint condition! Happy w/ my purchase! Maybe on the rare side w/ the the rosewood fret! Low Serial number too! G0050

Glad you bought it, first it is trans gold, and yea mint DOB is 12/97, I used to own it, traded in on my 46th anni JP, you sir picked up a killer HT Axis congrats

i had this axis hardtail

i had had an EVH hardtail but the neck was a little unstable and i didn't like how narrow it was up near the neck joint. this was one of the most amazing sounding axes (pun intended) that i've ever had. i would KILL to get it back. cool top, too.

but what is most interesting is the TONE CONTROL. i was asked if it had been added. i didn't know then, but now that i have studied them a bit i have never seen one from this era with a tone control. is it possible this was a stock feature?

Look in the ebay thread, some one posted used Axis HT from Denver GC at a killer price If I was not wanting something else new I would buy it myself

I know! I called them up about that. The guy said its maybe in 6/10 condition. Lots of dings, several through the finish to the wood. He said it needs fretwork as well. I would've been all over it if it just was in a little bit nicer shape!
