Omg. That was so amazingly beautiful.
Love that tone!! Even the cleans were spectacular!

Same pickups and tone woods and color. Check it out in the FS thread (shameless plug).
They are. If you watch the JPX video, you can see the top being fitted over the arm contour with the vacuum bags, I assume the other BFR's are done the same way.Are the BFR tops dropped? If so (and I presume so) carving a scoop into a top like that is gunna add some serious time and $$$. Good in theory though haha
I see. Could go for a two tone thing and have the scoop be opaque. Or just deal with the alder poking through. I could handle that for a scoop.
Tanax- It's not just the finish. I'm sure that guitar would have the tone block as well. I assume it's a prototype for the BFRs?
Alright, so take a JP BFR and change the pickups on that instead![]()
Hey Pete - was that the guitar that BP sent to your shop the day we were all there for the JP clinic a few years ago? I don't remember if it was that one, or the first true JP6 BFR...
Mike
I'm watching that video again. That tone is MONSTER. I would kill for that guitar! Beautiful!
But BFRs don't have the scoop. Not just a cutaway, but the original JP scoop!![]()
Yep, that's the one.If that was offered, I would order one tomorrow.
I agree except I'd have two. One to play and one to keep in A1 condition.
I believe a limited production run of precise replicas of these would sell like wildfire...
How about it BP? Limited run of 50? I bet you could sell them all instantly to people on this forum alone.... I'm sure they'd be more popular than those funny green guitars....![]()
Oh, right xD
Does that matter tonewise?
Where would you get these pickups btw? Is it possible to buy them seperately?
