Are there more pics available, maybe some closer up? I can't tell from the flyer pics if the body finish is a burst or just transparent blue. Is the maple fingerboard oil/wax finished?

From looking on the guitar side, it is a burst finish. It is also burst on the rear.

I think the Bongo is the sweetspot....as its a maple fretboard!

Well, that blueburst Bongo killed me. It's good I have no premier dealers here so I have no opportunity to go crazy. Btw how you will describe mahogany vs basswood body for the Bongo?

Yes, would be really good to hear from existing 'hog bongo owners how the sound differs from the basswood. I LOVE my 5hh stealth, but I don't like the painted body and neck as I like to have my wood on show (ooh er) hence I'd love a pdn provided it doesn't lose the fundamental tone of the regular bongo.

I'd imagine basswood vs mahogany would be much closer than ash to mahogany... but you're also dealing with maple fretboard changes too so its probably going be fairly different... not as different as a PDN Sterling mahogany Pau Ferro to an Ash Sterling with maple neck

It's a burst and oil/wax

I have a matching headstock fetish. Is that an option on these?

No

We can help connect you with a dealer that can provide an instrument.
