Your Stingray has piezo (which is why there are 5 knobs). It was completed on January 19th, 2001.

February 22nd, 2002; the bass is a standard Stingray 5 in Honey Burst with the optional matching headstock.

I'm new to the forum and I need some information on a Musicman bass guitar. The model is a Stingray 5, I guess. I do not own one but I've seen this nice bass for sale online. The seller stated that the bass was built in 1996. The serieal number is 57528.

Can you give me confirmation on the production date? And what's more important for me. What is this bass worth nowadays, it's in good condition ofcourse. I do not know if this is a Stingray Classic with that awesom birdseye maple neck.
What I do know about it is that it has a single humbucker and that 'larger' pickguard. Not the oval one with the metal plate underneath the knobs.
Any info you can give me is welcome.

I hate to pay 1500€ when I can get the same bass, brand new, for 1900€.
