remember ernie doesnt care about his wife.......it is kind of like reading tea leaves get someones large collection of guitars and arrange them in such a way that you can tell his deepest secrets....besides his wife I wonder whatelse sam can tell us about Ernie

I have a wife??:D

Hey now that you mention it, I do think there is some one living here with me amongst my obscene obbesive collection of EBMM's.

Where's Pete? I think it's time to order another Pet. I don't have enough of them, one more should do the trick.

Thanks for backing me up guys!

Wow...man, that's an awesome collection.

Perhaps there should be an EBMM punch card or stamp system for guys like Ernie:

For every new EBMM instrument purchase you get a punch on your card or a stamp (kinda like the old Subway sandwich card deal...)

- Buy five, you get half off your next EBMM instrument purchase.

- Buy ten, you get one free!

Oh, and I forgot to mention the latest addition, another one of those first 50 or 100 Pets signed by Mr. Petrucci:

I would be doing a disservice to Sammy if I didn't post some pics.

Come on Ernie - I think everyone wants to know what you do for a living to be able to afford this habit. (Don't deny it folks - enough of you asked in this thread alone and The Big E sidestepped them like a politician.

Maybe you're a surgeon!?! A.........Scientist..........A MARINE BIOLIGIST....maybe you're Jeff Goldblum?!?!

If you're a surgeon or Goldblum i'll give you a pass - if you're a mailman with a 3rd mortgage on his house then maybe not.

And for everyone who is going to reply 'OMG THAT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS' please don't already - it's just so cliché!:)

Hey, some of us know what he does. Use the search function  He's also a nice guy; unsure if your spidey sense picked that out from his collection.

Not sure what your problem is exactly ... It's his right to spend his money however he sees fit. Actually that right is shared by all of us. Good think none of us posted pictures of our cars, houses, etc.

What makes you think you're entitled to answers about his personal life? Chill out and have fun. You can admire other people's possessions and lives without being bitter, y'know.

Sorry I'm late to the game. I was busy spending my disposable income on a trip to an expensive resort in St Lucia. Oops, I'd better post my profession now ...

Some people have posted pics of houses, cars, etc. Hope you had a good trip, beej.

Hey Sammy,

I've been on this forum a very long time, do a search and you'll find out what I do for a living. I'm not a guy who really talks about his personal life on an open forum, but I did once state what I "do" for a living.

You know what, I'll save you the trouble and re-state it. I is a equity trader. That means I trade stocks, not one of those guys who dabbles on E-trade, but a professional trader with licenses and all that jazz.

No I don't have a mortgage, in fact, I owe nuthin' to nobody.

Do I now get a "pass" from you? Can I keep my collection, or do I have to liquidate it and distribute the proceeds amongst the forum members. Or maybe I should send everyone here a Petrucci.

Okay, now, what do you do for a living, do you have a mortgage, how much do you owe on credit cards, do you have a big screen t.v., do you buy extra fancy olives, of just plain fancy olives?

Oh, and just for the record, why do you give a bleep about me, my stuff, and what I do?

Sam sends all proceeds from Ebay sales of his X-Files memorabilia to Fidel Castro's international medical fund.

Actually he's a professional hitman.

A few of us are having a collection to pay for his next job.

It's really going rather well already! ;)

Honestly, I think you need to just drop it and let it be. Who cares what Ernie does for a living? If the man has the money to spend on a hobby so be it. BP likes older cars, are you gonna go and dig on him too? Did you just join this forum to start crap about Ernie's collection? Let it go and have some fun posting something positive. The people here are really great, and I consider every one of them family, but the way you're starting out isn't a great way to make a good impression on the fine folk of this forum.

Sam,

I feel the only way to respond to you is in this way:

gold002.jpg

BAM!

Fully-loaded Gold Sparkle!

(I know, crappy pic, but it was a rush job)

So...that's 44 pets, right? Or is it 45...I'm losing count. Sheesh! Man, you're living my fantasy (though I'd be collecting Lukes). And I thought Rob (Mr AL) was becoming a bad influence on me. If you'd like to start collecting Lukes next, and would like a safe place to store them where they would be loved, please contact me on..... ;)
