I dont want to pat myself on the back but I do want to pat the lads in engineering..I wont name them yet..but you know them.

I need you guys to understand that this was a labor of love...I put so much money into it you have no idea. It was worth every penny.

i hope you've hired enough security to make sure the EB booth doesn't get trampled at namm. I mean new guitar models and whatnot are cool but this is seriously something to go to namm for

Game Changer indeed !!!

Thanks for this preview, BP!

This is really an amazing innovation, what a great team effort!

I hope can afford a Game Changer in the not too distant future - so many sonic possibilities and yet so simple to use...

I'm speechless!

Congrats to all of you guys at SLP!

Gotta love a company with a strong engineering base!!!

Sterling, you said that this has been an ambition for a long time. Did it come about as a sudden idea one day, or was it a gradual development of different ideas?

Just finished watching the vids...the whole concept is mind-boggling (in the most positive way!). Even more impressive that it seems to be so user friendly and understandable once you wrapped your mind around it. I totally can see how it's gonna be one of the most innovative changes to the electric guitar in ages.

Can't wait to get my hands one one some day and I'm looking forward to NAMM with eager anticipation. I'm sure you'll knock the guitar world out of their socks with the gamechanger.

I would hopethe humbuckers were specially designed to sound like real single coils when split. I've never had much luck with split coils sounding as good as real single coil pickup. Probably since a good humbucker with 9K windings means a 4.5K split coil whereas a good SC might be would to 6 or 7K.

Great website and promo, and a great technical achievement.

Seeing all those vids I kept asking myself "wasn't less supposed to be more?"

Thanks for the preview, BP. Extremely innovative for sure. I'm sure the website is going to see a lot of traffic starting today.

I was thinking the same thing. While my bridge Paf Pro sounds pretty good splitted it's not a true SC sound. We'll have to wait and play the thing. It DID have me wondering wether you can easily swap pickups as you can with any other guitar (you'll need 4 conductor wiring for sure). I'm already thinking about the options you could get if you put Duncan P-Rails in it :). Modding the axe that doesn't need wiring-mods...I guess I'm a sick puppy :D

Did anyone else note that there were bodies routed with 3 humbuckers?
Also there were three humbucker setups shown on the one of the computer screens.

Congratulations BP and EBMM design team!

Great videos! All of the videos were awesome, but I was especially impressed with the footage of Jay and BP in the studio on the last video. All the different sounds were so sweet and so distinct and hearing the differences back-to-back like that really made it apparent how versatile this guitar is.

I remember in the early 90's how I and others had not heard of EBMM's great work until the EVH model came out and created a big buzz. The quality of workmanship EBMM was putting out was the best-kept secret in the industry and, once people heard about and played the guitars, the word spread. I had to try one and I instantly became a convert and have played EBMM exclusively ever since.

This is revolutionary. I see this one creating a HUGE buzz. Between the media and the internet, this will surely be THE guitar to check out in 2011. Players out there that are still not clued in as to who manufactures the best guitars in the industry will become enlightened!

Blow them away at NAMM! EBMM world domination 2011!!! :)

Wow!

That's all I have to say.

A Reflex, with a green quilted maple top, HSH configuration, piezo and the Game Changer would be the last guitar I ever buy.

Seriously! Well, except to buy a second one as a back up.

Congrat BP and everyone else at EBMM! This truly is a Gamechanger and is absolutely mindblowing! To give it a proper review in any guitar magazine, they're going to have to do a multiple page article rather than a one page review.
