I was thinking the same thing. While my bridge Paf Pro sounds pretty good splitted it's not a true SC sound. We'll have to wait and play the thing. It DID have me wondering wether you can easily swap pickups as you can with any other guitar (you'll need 4 conductor wiring for sure). I'm already thinking about the options you could get if you put Duncan P-Rails in it :). Modding the axe that doesn't need wiring-mods...I guess I'm a sick puppy :D

I was TOTALLY thinking the same thing about the P-Rails. :D

Unbelievable, on a dutch forum there are already people complaining "I don't like it, it has batteries so there's probably a digital component to the sound" and "don't like it, too much options". That last one I can understand, there are a lot of people that just want a three way and 2 humbuckers, but statements about the batteries are so easy...

The negative comments are just human nature.

Hard to take anything seriously from people that slam an innovation without trying it first.

Too true unfortunately.

Wouldn't it have been great if the internet and forums had been around when the wheel was invented!!!??

You'd have multiple experts going on about how it would never work because a circle would be too difficult to produce!

I'm probably on the same forum, and have also seen these comments. Keep in mind that Music Man is a brand that really doesn't have that much support/coverage in the Netherlands that it does have elsewhere. + people will always be sceptical towards innovative ideas. It's ok, everybody has his own opinion. But they probably didn't even watch the gamechanger movies..

All I know is: I still want one bad!!

The deal with the Gamechanger is that if you want the same old thing, it's still in there.
I am sort of a Luddite but I think it is truly is a revolution.
I think pickups will change from the '50 era technology to better match the gamechangers.
The gamechanger with something like those Vox coaxial guitar pickups would be interesting....
I am sure BP and Steve Blucher are talking over new things.
This should really give EBMM a real competitive advantage in the market place.
I am sure there will be tons of folks trying to copy it for their own gain.

The funny thing is: the guy that posted that is a MASSIVE gearnut. Exotic woods (stuff most have never even heared of), tried every single pickup available in the world more or less, likes trems on his Les Pauls, etc. You'ld think a guy like that would be able to think outside of the box. But "oh no, the GC has batteries, must be digital"...Most people have 9V batteries in their stompboxes, but are so glad they are analogue ;)

I don't care about criticism, I couldn't care less if someone doesn't like the tone. Hey, I might not like the tone :). But try it first. People that come over and see what I can do with the Roland VG-99 usually love what it can accomplish where at first they think it will be terrible. I love those moments. If you hear it and still don't dig it: perfectly fine too :)

BTW, I'm signsofzodiac on there ;)

Keith- didn't you get your game changer last week? LOL!!! from the looks of it the reflex is the go to body for right now... but who knows it could expand into its own body here shortly... i'm thinking BP has some BIG plans for this project in the future

Looks very cool, be interested to mess around with this. Can't wait until it's offered on other models.
