A moderator isn't gonna save you. Take a good lesson in internet protocal...you fired on us and caused quite a stir ..then you got nasty with our people and I said ok..lets let the fellow forumittes see if this guy was mistreated.....

I dont think that you should buy one of our guitars....I cannot guarantee that we can please you and nobody at EBMM gets paid enough to make you happy. Be happy that you are the first customer I have fired.

C'mon Ernie, the guy was gonna have the store buy a neck from EB.... Im sure if you get pissed off at me enough, and call up EB customer service about how you ordered a Teal Pearl JP and it came in with a flamed neck (which doesn't match the Teal motif) and bitch enough, that they will stop production and build you one each - fully loaded Glacier Blue Sparkle, Gunsmoke, AND Burnt Apple JP model just to make their peace with you.

Right? :confused:





It's late and I'm all worked up. And the liquid courage :D hasn't even been uncorked tonight! :eek:

For the record, I just got a Silo in the mail that has no birdseye PERIOD and i couldnt care less because this guitar kicks so much ass its not even funny.

Pops is a moderator and he could have closed this thread himself. I'm not speaking for BP or EBMM - but it kinda looks like this situation has been made an example of. see, pops has balls :) and since you're officially fired ... it looks like you dont ;)

Koogs more or less said everything that was on my mind (thx brutha) ... but seeing as how your in Canada i can guess as to whom you had to yell at to get this escalted and thats not cool dude, not at all.

I have a question for you. Did you order this from a dealer or did you collaborate with Big Poppa to have this guitar perfectly designed to your specs? Yeah, that's what I thought there, Birdseye Boy. If you wanted to ensure a that you would get the holy grail of birdseye necks, then you should have had a luthier build your guitar. I mean, did the dealer promise you a beautiful birdseye neck, or did you just assume? The policy is that you have no control over what neck you get. You can insist with your whiney drivel all you want, but the fact still remains that when ordering a guitar from Ernie Ball you may or may not get alot of birdseye. You may get a flame neck or you might not get anything. You can consider yourself lucky. Considering the fact that you called customer service and conducted yourself like a complete d**chbag, I would have sent your neck back to you with a note that said deal with it. That neck is perfectly fine, and quite nice, might I add. Someone needs to get their head out of the clouds and grow up. Yeah, that's correct. I'm not buying into your spiel, nor do I feel one bit of sympathy for this "travesty" against you...boo hoo.

I apologize to my fellow Ernie Ball bretheren here on the board. It gets so irritating to see someone who is so grossly in the wrong keep insisting that they are some victem of injustice when they are the one being the heavy. I am not a patient or mild-mannered man. That is all I will say on this matter.

I can't believe that someone is THIS ****ing upset about some SPOTS on the BACK of a neck of a guitar where little tree branches once grew (that's what they are btw; knots).

Learn how to play a little better maybe and you won't spend so much time staring at the back of the neck. :p

Hell, I don't even know if either of my JP7's HAVE birdseye, I've honestly never looked. And you know what? I don't give **** if they do or not.

BP: have your server admin make an Idiot Filter™ just for this guy. If they need help making it, give me a call. ;)

This thread is getting pretty silly, but I have a last few words to offer. I'm the Service Manager at the store in question for those of you who missed my post on the nuked thread (thank you by the way BP!). The other day the dude in question comes up to me and asks if I'm Eric/"Lance Romance", to which I reply yes. He says he's checking there's nothing bad between us. I reply no, I'm a "professional", and he says in one of his posts that that's "CRAP". Perhaps he has just realized that I'm the "professional" who'll be putting his guitar together and setting it up (third time no charge). Things that make you go "Hmmm...".
On a more positive note, I just ordered myself a new Axis SS in Trans. Orange, matching headstock, HH trem, and a premium quilttop. I'm putting out my hard-earned money, waiting into the new year sometime and not minding it at all, as I know it will be a fabulous guitar. I wanted to make sure I got a pretty top, so I gladly paid the upcharge (just got a PRS Hollowbody II Artist Package and paid the staggering extra dough to make sure the top was pretty; waited since January NAMM, and worth it). I know i'll dig it!
Gotta run before that "coward" BP comes along and nukes this thread...(LOL)-Eric

Nice to see someone who takes pride in their work. As a side note, if I offended anyone by my actions, I apologize.....but, I will not apologize for how I feel about the situation or how I will defend EBMM and in particular Big Poppa. With that said, I am going on a well deserved vacation with my wife. She deserves it more so than anyone on the planet. I will check in from time to time, but, I will be off line for about a week. This is one trip I am looking forward to with just me and my more than understanding wife. Hope all is well with everyone and be safe. Once I am back....I get to go job hunting.... :rolleyes: Life is good, take care. :cool:

Thanks for sharing the pics. After the intital thread, I wasn't expecting to see a neck even close to that. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that neck, it's actually more figured than than the original neck on my Petrucci, that I plunked down my hard earned money on.

Give it a break whine bag. You didn't order a "custom" guitar, you ordered a guitar that was made to order, and should be ashamed of the sh*t you pulled and then had the nerve to go public with. You deserve everything you get.

BP, I think it's incredible that you even considered supplying another neck to begin with. You also made the right call, you don't need customers like this.
