Accugroove Tri210L. It is 2x10 + 1x5 (I think) + 2 dome tweeters. Its like a huge studio monitor. Well, not huge, but you know what I mean. It weighs all of 40 something pounds. It also has a switch on the back to go from 8 to 4 Ohms. I used to have an Eden 210xlt and a Metro Combo, and this Accugroove slays both, but can be run a lower volumes easily.

That's a Motion-Sound Pro 145, it's what a Leslie supposed to sound like! Remember I still have to play keyboards to support my bass habit.

That's what I was looking at...too cool!!! I would imagine that a guitar, I mean a six-string piccolo bass, would sound pretty nice through that as well! My keyboard buddy has a huge Leslie cab (don't ask me what model), and it sounds great, but he won't let me play through it! (I wonder why? )

Ok, what you said. It is still light :) I have casters on it too heheh. Sorry, I'm really terrible as estimating distances, time, and weights. zoinks.

I helped the bass player from the band that played before us on Friday move his ampeg cabinet. Ouch, that thing was 165 pounds (according to him). Mine kept up and didn't even go past 12:00 on the master volume.

I can't hold back any longer. I've tried dozens of amps with EB basses and the consistent winner as far as I'm concerned is one of the following: Genz Benz or Aguilar. The sounds that both of those amps produce are world class and, depending on the model or your needs, Gadzooks, they're high-Zoot Monsters. While I'm not suggesting that there aren't several good amps available, you'd be doing yourself a serious dis-service by not checking these guys out.

In the new stock department, we received quite a few new EB basses this month. If anyone's in need, we're just a homing pigeon away. :^>)

My latest discovery: Epifani UL502. being a more modern amp than the Eden WT550, It speaks to me. Expensive , yes. But when Im looking for an amp to have for many years ahead, it's worth it.

That, paired with a berg HT210S, gold.

So you've played through this combo? The UL502 has always intrigued me but I've never had a chance to use one through my Bergs.

*I'm happy with my rig-I'm happy with my rig-no need to look for new amps* I just keep telling myself this.

I've got a Lowend True Voice preamp on the way. I can't wait to record my Bongos through it.

Point to point wiring, 6SN7 or 6SL7 tubes (I've got both coming), NOS UTC transformer for the DI.

Sure, it looks like it's got a scrotum on the front of it, but they sound amazing. I got a great deal, too.

So, expect some Bongo clips in the near future....

I havent gotten a chance to play it yet. Barely anyone carries Bergs, let alone them both.

Oh that's cool. I figured you had played through the rig since you called it "gold". Bergs are great and I'm sure the UL502 is freak'n sweet but 2 great things do not always equal a great combo. Although in this case, I'm sure it would sound great.

Andrew, I also think that your rig is a great combo. The ashdown tone probably works extremely well with bergs. Although, Im pretty sure anything works well with a berg, stop me if you disagree.

Figgy. This statement I am about to make is based on a few things.
1) Reading a number of your posts both here, and at TB.
2) Hearing the song clip you posted.
3) Havong run an Eden amp and Berg HT210S.
4) All the previous points tie in together.

Based on 1-4, the WT-400 or WT-550 with a 4 ohm Berg HT210S seems like exactly what would work for you. The Eden will gove you big pillowy warmth. But you can get get some sizzle too. I thing the Eden/Berg setup would knock you over.

I certainly would like to try an Eden before making my choice.

Yeah. In fact the only amp/cab product I could honestly suggest without playing are the Berg cabs. I hope you can try em though. They are sweet.
