This is my only issue as well with the AXIS. Standing up it's fine. But for bedroom/office players like me, it's a ****ing pain in the arm.

I found that I had to change how I held the guitar against my body. That's how I had to play an Axis. And what wound up wearing out my right forearm. I used the meaty part of my fore arm to push the guitar into my belly.

Anyway, I'm holding out for enough money to get a Reflex, though I really wished that EBMM just made an Axis with a forearm contour.

But I can wish in one hand, crap in the other, and see which hand gets filled up first.

I as well have a good bit of forearm discomfort from any guitar with no forearm relief. I'd love a Rosewood Axis but I know that I'd never really play it other than around the house because of the lack of a forearm contour. This however doesn't mean it's not a fantastic guitar, which it is. We're all just put together a little different, so it's honestly just a matter of finding what fits you. :)

To be completely frank I preferred the original JP forearm contour just because it was so carved out, it was so comfy for me, my BFR's did take a little adjusting too but once I got used to it, I've had no issues whatsoever.

Like I said though, they are all fantastic guitars and we're all put together a little different, so work with whatever's comfy for ya. :)

I wear them low enough that it doesn't matter if it has a contour or not. My arm doesn't lay there;)
