Is it true that black basses usually require the use of a bigger Johnson rod than white basses do?

Just curious to know if this is reality or just a misconception.

I've heard that both ways, and really, as loong as I'm not in prison, I don't let it concern me. Now what about the questions of which color keeps more solid time? After that's settled, perhaps the question of jump bass ..... ?

Its too late......yesterday at 4:00 pm they had to do two procedures with the Johnson rod on your bass....It groans a little when you try to put a strap on it though. You usually know when we had to use the rod becasue the bass has a hemmhroid pillow in the case instead of silica

I dunno why, but the mental picture of a bass sitting quietly and pristinely in its case, atop a little donut is just killing me . . . . . easily amused, I guess . . . . .
