Elvis dude, why don't you look around and notice hundreds of happy customers here? Some of us had some business with CS and everybody is happy! Plus if you haven't found it yet, we are all here friends and attacking one of us is like attacking our small community. If we weren't happy here and didn't want to share out common state of mind no one would even write a single word here. Anyway how can actually someone buy an instrument without checking it before? We have a lot of fakes drifting in the net so if you don't have an idea what you are buying then don't. Especially if you have limited budget. Save up for a new one or buy checked one.

to lefty: man, I felt you would be insanely happy about BPs words about left JP :) Well, it seems you are gonna have this little baby after all. I know it's too early for that, but congratulations! I remember you saying you would buy lefty JP since I remember! And yeah...we all have it written down :)

best,
Mike

Emkey,

Even if it's not true.......the thought of one makes me happy. ^^^^^

But here's to finger crossed.....really, really crossed, both hands and toes. :D

My wife would be the insane one. Insane that I spent our house money on JP's, but before we even got married, she knew I was obsessed with getting one, one day, somehow!!!!

Who knew that the ranting of a snobby jerk0ff would make the best BP posting quote ever.

I really wasn't going to say this.

But the fact that this mindless pinhead had the nerve to call BP an S.O.B. warrants it.

Elvis, I know you have been banned, but I hope you are still lurking.

You have one hell of a nerve while you're hiding behind your keyboard.

But, if you had said it in my presence, you'd be pulling boot leather out of your ass for a month.

Oh man. My pal Dylan (who is a fellow Ball player, owning... 8 of them?) just commented on the left handed JP:

"That will be the best left handed guitar on the market."

I have to concur.

without question. Who could even come close?? EB for me is not just about guitars, it's about this forum and the great people on it and the best CS dept. in the world, and an owner who cares enough to answer personally, for good or bad. I've said it before, and i'll say it again and again, they have a customer for life with me.

ALL THIS OVER A TRUSS ROD ADJUSTMENT? BWAHHHHH!

Here is what happens with used guitars. They leave the factory set up pretty nice. Grab any EBMM off the wall at a shop and you'll see how well they are set up.

Person A decides he wants the action lower and starts screwing with things without knowing what he's doing. Person A sells guitar to Person B who stores the guitar in a sub freezing garage or decides to leave it in the trunk of their car for eight hours on a 100 degree hot day. Luckily as long as the neck isn't warped and the headstock is still attached, (yes I've seen someone snap the headstock off a beautiful Guild acoustic) then you can get it in top playing condition. Person C buys guitar and takes it to a shop and fails to tell repair person that they bought it USED/ABUSED.

It is going to cost you money if you can't do it yourself. Why? Because it is USED!

Moral of the story - People are dumb! Don't buy guitars from dumb people!

I tend to usually stay out of these messes. Besides, you guys are doing a great job dealing with this Asshat.

Just needed to say that I've had only 1 CS issue with a guitar and Kevin and everybody involved went above and beyond my expectations. The problem was taken care of. EBMM customer service is the best in the business. There are a few companies that I can think of that you'd have enough trouble getting issues dealt with, with guitars that are still under warranty.....nevermind a 3 year old guitar.

The sad thing is with this whole debacle is if the owner had of kept up civil communication with CS, he know doubt would have been made a happy customer.

P.S. I'd really like to meet this genius guitar tech. He must be that good, he can tell the difference between

1. A guitar that had a truss rod installed improperly at the factory. As opposed to.....

2. Someone who probably didn't know what they were doing and wrenched the crap out of the truss rod and broke it. Who knows how many owners that guitar has had over the three years.

I can just imagine the conversation between the owner and tech. Um, yeah, the truss rod was installed improperly at the factory. The adjustment for it is at the pickup side of the neck. It should be at the headstock.:D:rolleyes:

Actually leaving this thread up and allowing the guy to state his views is cool though. A few months back I don't think this would have been the case, but things have mellowed a bit in that regards here (IMHO). A good thing I think, I do seem to remember a post by BP stating that he would sort of relax a bit in that regards and it really makes the forum more open and fun. Besides, I am sure the guy will recant and return to the EBMM fold as soon as he goes back to his old gear...:D Now can we get a pic of a Silo Spec in the LE2008 color scheme?!!!!!

Both of you, stop giving Canadians and guitar players around the world a bad name. You're only making yourselves look like assholes and losing any credibility your parents bought for you.

+1 !

I'm a very happy Canadian customer and this whole issue saddens me to no end. My guitar makes me happy though; without EBMM, I would still be fighting my guitar as opposed to enjoying it.

I think cheese belongs on a burger and I will fight you on that.

No, no, no.....
Here's what will happen,
I will smash your face into a car windshield. Then I will take your mother out for a nice seafood dinner and NEVER call her again!

:)
I bet if I called BP a SOB, I would only get lefty SiLOs.
