I think cheese belongs on a burger and I will fight you on that.

No, no, no.....
Here's what will happen,
I will smash your face into a car windshield. Then I will take your mother out for a nice seafood dinner and NEVER call her again!

Anchorman? Nice!

Why don't you go back to your home on Ibanez Island.

Geez, I hate when I get too busy at work and can't visit the forum until all the action has died down....

One question, and it has my puzzler puzzled - Doesn't anyone else suspect that "Elvis" is actually the same person with the problem in the first place, taking delayed potshots? Seems to me, in the virtual world, someone can start Forum accounts with any ID they wish, and from several different spots (so as to fool IP address police)...

I think that Sterling's statement about us Knuckleheads and Canuckleheads having his back is spot on - except he doesn't realize that, when he isn't looking, we're all fighting to make sure it's each of us that has the opportunity to, as Koogs said, take a bullet for the "big guy"...

I love this place. Can someone here officially adopt me please???

Frankly, I think this thread is bull****!
I also think it is a reflection of BP's resilience that he hasn't shut 'er down yet.
BP doesn't need me to come to his defence but I will say that no other "Big Boss" is as accessible as he (not to mention Jon, Kevin, Beth and other great staff) is.
There is a time and place for everything and a right and wrong way to approach things. One needs to demonstrate some manners in the home of another.
BTW, if I had 8 posts at the Porsche forum, I don't think my threat to "not buy" a Carrera would be taken too seriously!
Now on behalf of my fellow hosers I say.."let's have a beer eh"

I guess I too missed all the action.

Pity, I like frying assholes like this guy.

Oh well, he's banned now.....

So I guess he's back parading around in front of the mirror with lipstick on and his dick between his legs.

If you're still lurking Elvis, here is something for you.

I'm just a player. Nobody knows who I am and nobody ever will. I ordered a JP7 a couple years ago and had some issues. I really suspect the initial problem was never due to anything EBMM did during the manufacturing process, but that is neither here nor there. Fact of the matter is, I had issues with the thing. It spent the first half year of its life traveling in a UPS truck between Hicksville Indiana and SLO. It spent the second half of the year being rebuilt because UPS dropped it and busted the head stock.

Oh, and did I mention they replaced the BODY because of a scratch I PUT IN THE FINISH?? I about dropped the phone when Dan McPherson told me that!! Talk about going above and beyond the call of duty!! Get any of the other mass manufacturers to do that and they'd crap their pants laughing at you.

I don't know how directly Sterling was involved in rectifying this problem. I suspect he hired and trained good enough staff to not have to even be aware of it because they bent over backwards for me and kissed the heals on their feet to make sure I was happy.

From that time on, I put all my other guitars in their cases. I will not play anything else other than EBMM because I so strongly believe in Sterlings vision for the company and how I've seen him take care of this family.

Compare that to this story. I owned (briefly) an Epiphone Embassy 5 string bass that I got because I worked for a Gibson dealer. Free is an excellent price to pay so I got it. Well, they put the world's $hittie$t truss rod nut on the thing, it was softer than tin foil. Not only that, it was so far inside the neck you couldn't get a wrench on it to turn it. It stripped. I had to use a screw extractor to get it out. It was destroyed.

I called Gibson CS, told them what happened, said I'd pay for a new TRUSS ROD NUT. They sent me a string nut. WTF??? I called back and verbally slapped the guy for being an idiot. Well, not really, I just told him he sent me the wrong bloody thing. He then informed me he couldn't sell me a truss rod nut because they couldn't grab one off another bass and had no way to tell me what size it was or anything. Lame. I had a buddy machine me a new one, fixed the bass and got rid of it.

Now, tell me who is the superior company? No contest, not even any question.

Like I said, at LEAST talk to the guy over the phone, as a customer service rep offered to do in the same thread, and try to work it out ... But don't humiliate him on a public forum. He doesn't deserve that. In fact, nobody does. And I don't care who Big Poppa is or thinks he is.

Yeah, I know I'm coming to the party late, and ol' elvis has been banned, but this statement just struck me as really funny. Seems like his bud could have tried to take care of the situation over the phone, too, and not bring his rant into a public forum calling for boycotts. Remember boys and girls, you put your ass out in public, it may just get handed back to you. :p

OK and with all this thank you guys for the support.

I really am sorry that this had to take everyones time and one thing that didnt get commented on was king stubby who was quite angry with me and is now very happy because he let the resources in England and America work for him as designed.

Im just not good enough to take abuse...I will respond in kind and will always prefer to have fun.
