LOL! :D
Please use wooden Louisvilles. I've never been a fan of aluminum bats! ;)
If anything at all! You guys make me laugh a lot!

I actually just got off the phone with one of the local dealers. Slowly getting closer!!!! :D
It's actually starting to feel real! The excitement is beginning to distract me from everything in my life once again!

Fog,

I ordered the Carbon Blue Pearl for my Petrucci. It's stunning as heck and I can't help but smile and want to pick it up to play it every time I look at it. I've only had mine a week but I have to say that this is the best investment I've ever made and I am never going to get rid of this guitar. I was originally debating between the Blue Pearl and the Carbon Blue Pearl and I went with the CBP because it's not as flashy and yet it still catches the lighting with those flecks in the finish.

No matter what guitar you get, you're going to be happy with this color.

Pete, you're killing me with those pics. I AM going to be getting a MM soon. I literally get light headed, spazzy, and out of breath when I see the pics. If the Sil had a trem, I'd be begging my wife right now to put a down payment on it. Although, I'm really digging the black Axis too. Then again, the black cherry ASS is dreamy. My head hurts.

Fogger, the other night I used the builder functin to put together a guitar. It was pretty close to pic 25. The black pearl sat nice on the body.

Al, just wait until you see the pic I take of 8 y2ds in Purple Sunset & De-Purple burst, in various hardtail/trem configurations, all premium tops, and all lined up together when they arrive in November :D

Both Axis guitars play like a dream, but the Floyd on the Black Axis helps it fit my playing posture more comfortably than the MM trem on the Black Cherry Burst (sue me, I am used to Floyds)

I might take a ride up there soon. I live in the Philly area and mapquest puts it as a 4 hour drive. Could be a fun saturday trip. With gas prices as they are, may we could carpool.

That Carbon Blue Pearl color looks kinda boring to me. Every company has that color option. It seems to me that's one of the colors Ibanez puts on their seven strings or close to it.

Fogger, I gave you until the end of January...that 2 large post clause was something that you apparently made up in your mind.

You wanna run with that, feel free...you're on a roll towards 2 large, and you're still empty handed...keep postin', pal.

No presuasion necessary! Just a matter of how soon!
Order or buy off the shelf? We're in the final stages! ;)

Well, to each their own. Personally, I think the EBMM finishes are sooooo much nicer than other brands, though. They have a depth to them that I just don't see on other guitars.

Everyone has black or white as an option, too.. yet they remain among the best selling colors for guitars.
