This the first time I have really gotton a good look at koa as a top wood. I really like the dark streaks in the grain. The flame that's going on there, is that an anomolly that happens like flame in maple or does it naturally occour in koa? Either way, I think the top on that guitar is fantastic.
This is also the first time I have seen one of the solid rosewood necks on a silo. NorMally I wouldn't think that would work but the combination of koa and rosewood seems to go together like DG and White Ice, CBP and Abalone, Black and Black, White (the most underrated color) and anything.
