It was cool, though it didn't have any pickups on it.

It was the true definition of Prototype.

It's 3:45 pm on Monday Eastern Standard time. We on the east coast have until 7pm'ish to place a DD order. The west coast is 3 hours behind us. :D

I'd snap up a DD Luke if I wasn't buying my first house:(

I'd be happy with a regular Luke, but the DD would be extra cool. Why can't I have something I'd enjoy during this stressful time?!

Sorry to bother you but just to be on the safe side, can someone from EBMM confirm that you receive the order from France for a Luke DD, non matching headstock (I have given the model number this morning to Patrice Vigier) ?

trigger pulled

I did some soul searching and decided that I am indeed man enough to play a Bongo. Specifically, a Dargie Delight Bongo 4H from Jack & Steve. You may gaze in awe at my newfound awesomeness. :D

Nothing like waiting until the 11th hour.

It will be interesting to see (when the smoke clears from all of the rapid-fire ordering) how much difference a day made in the ordering of Dargie Delights.

I for one missed the original window.. I was ceratinly tempted, but I figured I'd sit that one out. Even after the original deadline passed, I still wasn't particularly upset about having missed out.

But after BP re-opened the window, something in my brain snapped and I decided that I couldn't pass on the offer twice. Besides, I'd been toying with the idea of getting a bass for recording purposes.. why not make it an extra special one?

I mentioned the idea to my wife, and she actually didn't seem to mind (we're potentially in the process of selling our house and buying another within the next few weeks so I thought it would go over like a lead balloon), so what the heck? :D

Congrats to everyone joining the DD club! Pictures will be required for entry into the clubhouse.

Congrats Steve on the bongo....

Maybe all who attend Jack's B-Day bash that ordered a DD can buy Dargie a shot all at once and make him down them.......then let the filming begin...hehehehe

Koogs,

Thanks! Can't wait to play that Bongo!

I'd certainly buy Dargie a drink.. but I think he could actually handle all those shots! Remember, he runs with BP and Lucious! :)

For sure, just look at how many Lucious has had on my avatar alone and it's only been up a few days. :p
